Rebekah knows about commitment and sacrifice. Her parents, Lt. Col. Ron and Clara Gamache, taught her by example. Lt. Col Gamache served in the United States military for 30 years in both the enlisted and officer corps. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroic actions taken in the Vietnam conflict. Her mother placed her career as a respiratory therapist on hold to be a full-time homemaker and rear six children. Rebekah is married, and has built a wonderful life with her amazing husband of 20 years, Jeff. They have been blessed with two beautiful children, Devin, and Conner. She is currently looking to expand her family through foster care and adoption.
She is a seasoned sales & marketing professional with 15 years of managerial experience with Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and The Berkeley Hotel. In 2012, after completely submitting her life to Christ, she felt led to forge a new path to fight for our country and support non-profit organizations that she believes in. She is thankful for the honor of working for The Family Foundation, Amanda Chase for Virginia State Senate & Governor, Ben Carson’s Presidential Super PAC, and Trump Victory. Rebekah has been blessed with opportunities to help advance the causes she holds near to her heart -- Holocaust Garden & March of Remembrance, Attack Poverty, Parkgate Pregnancy Resource Center, and Fullness of Truth.
Since arriving in Jenison in August of 2019, she set her heart on serving her community. Rebekah has served the Republican party through the local Ottawa GOP as a office volunteer, Finance Chair (2020), and is currently a Precinct Delegate and Executive Committee member. She is a founding member and President of the Republican Women of Ottawa County. She served as the Secretary for the MIGOP Second Congressional District and is currently a State Committeewoman for the MIGOP. She and her family attend Resurrection Life Church.
As a small business owner, Rebekah knows the struggles and challenges we face through excessive government regulations.
